ETF to deal in carbon emissions
XShares Advisors LLC filed a registration statement with the SEC to offer exchange traded fund shares in AirShares EU Carbon Allowances Fund.
The New York-based registered investment adviser said that the ETF will invest in futures on carbon emission allowances under the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme. XShares Advisors LLC, a subsidiary of XShares Group LLC, currently has 19 exchange traded fund listed.
