Long-term care tax relief a no-go

Supporters of legislation that would create tax breaks for long-term care insurance premiums will have to wait until the next Congress. A handful of measures died in committee last month that either would have provided a tax deduction for such insurance premiums or would have given a tax credit to individuals who cared for those with long term care needs.
