What are the Community Leadership Awards?

The Community Leadership Awards recognize financial advisers from any brokerage firm, broker-dealer or RIA firm for their roles as leaders and active volunteers in charitable organizations within their communities. The awards pay tribute to the philanthropic spirit of financial advisers by highlighting their dedication to their communities and the lasting impact of their efforts.

Now in its third year, the Community Leadership Awards, presented by InvestmentNews and the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, have honored financial advisers across the nation affiliated with wirehouse, regional, independent and insurance broker-dealers. It's the only program that recognizes the charitable contributions of financial advisers outside of the advisory industry.

Award finalists will be honored at the Community Leadership Awards dinner on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Award honorees will be announced during the dinner. The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation will make a donation of $10,000 to each category award honoree's charity. A $500 donation will also be made to each of the finalists' charities.
