Cambridge Investment Research Inc. has added Mike Hamm and Julie Gebert to its management team.

As vice president of partner support, Mr. Hamm, 39, will provide strategic leadership for the Cambridge Partner Support Center.

Previously, he served as vice president of business technology services for LPL Financial, where he was responsible for IT functions, including projects reaching across 14 LPL business units.

As assistant vice president of compliance, Ms. Gebert, 44, will supervise the advertising review, training, external audit and internal audit compliance units. She will be responsible for trade review, electronic correspondence, outside business activities and employee transactions.

Previously, Ms. Gebert was assistant vice president of business development/adviser coach for AIG Advisor Group.

First Command Financial Services Inc. has hired Terri Kallsen, 41, as first executive vice president of strategic development.

She will be responsible for fostering brand growth and market entrenchment.

Previously, Ms. Kallsen worked as senior vice president of wealth management for USAA, where she was responsible for increasing adviser capacity, expanding retail locations and overseeing 350 certified financial planners.

Macro Consulting Group has hired Jay LaMalfa, 48, for its financial planning team and made him a partner.

He will provide financial advice to clients in their financial decisions and selection of investment options.

Previously, Mr. LaMalfa was a representative at New England Financial, where he was responsible for supervision, compliance and adviser production.

Stephens Inc. has hired John Keller and Michael Marino as vice presidents and equity research analysts at its Houston branch.

The team will be responsible for covering the oil field services sector.

Previously, Mr. Keller, 31, and Mr. Marino, 31, worked as associate analysts in the equity research division at Johnson Rice & Co. LLC, where they developed proprietary data, financial and valuation models used to drive investment recommendations for more than 30 companies in the oil field services sector.

They also produced industry and company-specific research reports for distribution to investors.

KBS Capital Markets Group has hired Michael Malloy and Frank O'Brien as regional vice presidents to help the firm develop anticipated product and sales growth.

Mr. Malloy, 37, will be responsible for the desert mountain region. He will direct the company's regional sales presence by building relationships with local broker-dealers and registered investment advisers in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.

Previously, he was a regional vice president for Axa Equitable, responsible for variable- and fixed-annuity sales to the independent-planner channel in Arizona and New Mexico.

Mr. O'Brien, 44, will direct KBS' regional sales presence by building local broker-dealer and RIA relationships in Delaware, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.

Previously, he was a vice president and annuity specialist at Sun Life Financial Distributors Inc., responsible for sales of variable and fixed annuities in the metropolitan New York market.

GreatLight Fee Only Advisors LLC has hired James K. Daley, 57, as a financial adviser.

He will work with investment management and financial planning clients to develop new advisory business services in the northwest and western suburbs of Chicago.

Previously, Mr. Daley served as vice president and head of asset allocation for Diversified Investment Advisors Inc.

He oversaw the money management firm's asset allocation services for defined-benefit plans and worked closely with the client investment services group.
