Compliance consulting company National Regulatory Services announced an enhanced version of their ComplianceMAX product that is used by many broker-dealers, investment advisers and insurers.
The new version allows firms to automatically capture publicly accessible social networking pages in addition to the other electronic media and documents already accessible by the product.
This means that social networking pages can now be grabbed for processing, annotating and archiving to meet compliance requirements just like the old-school websites, blogs, e-mails, documents, spreadsheets, images or sound files of yore.
That will make for an even more comprehensive, lengthy, if less challenging, trail for compliance officers and auditors alike to follow — not to mention search, parse, organize and analyze.
In terms of pricing I’m not sure where this fits compared to the annual starting price of $1,350 for ComplianceEssentials, an NRS product used by many investment advisers (we will add to this post when we have additional information).
