Scivantage, a provider of web-based, front- and middle-office technology to the financial services industry, announced today the availability of its new Portfolio Rebalancing module.

The technology, a premium add-on to the Scivantage Professional platform, allows those firms that subscribe to it to automatically rebalance and perform straight through processing of transactions on their clients' accounts instead of having to carry out the process manually or through other third-party services.
For the underlying engine Scivantage worked with MyVest, a wealth management technology provider that created a turnkey investment management platform.
Advisers using their own or firm-designated asset allocation models can set up the module to automatically watch for and correct portfolios that get out of balance. This is designed to work with single or multiple accounts and model portfolios can consist of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), mutual funds and stocks.
Models can be percent-weighted or share-weighted models as well as models of models with multiple tiers.
Other features include being able to define client-specific restrictions and model overrides, real-time, straight-through processing of transactions through use of the Scivantage Professional Trade Processing system and back office interfaces, and pre-validation of trade orders using the Automated Trade Review engine.
