Adviser Compensation and Staffing
In 2011, over 600 of advisory firms took part in the InvestmentNews/Moss Adams Adviser Compensation and Staffing benchmark study, which found that a select group of advisory firms were financially successful in part because they excelled at effectively managing their human capital.Highlights of this year's study include:
• Comprehensive compensation benchmarking data on 38 advisory firm job positions
• How staffing practices have changed over the past few years
• Current trends in owner compensation, equity distributions, and structures
• Employee benefits data
• Updated financial and operational benchmarking data
To delve deeper into the 2011 study results, InvestmentNews hosted a series complementary workshops in October 2011. Advisers were able to identify challenges, set goals and find solutions to the compensation and staffing needs of their advisory firms.
