Morningstar Inc. of Chicago has named Thomas Idzorek, 41, president of its global investment management division.
He will oversee the company's investment advisory, retirement solutions and investment management operations in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America.
Previously, Mr. Idzorek was chief investment officer of the investment management division.

Citi Private Bank of New York has hired Stephen Baird, 38, as a director and private banker for ultrahigh-net-worth clients.
Based in Houston, he is responsible for creating investment and wealth preservation strategies for local families and businesses. Mr. Baird also will work with in-house teams to deliver banking and credit services, global investment advice, access to capital markets, and managed investments, along with trust and estate planning to his clients.
Previously, he was an executive director and private banker at J.P. Morgan Private Wealth Management, a unit of JPMorgan Chase & Co., which is based in New York.
Citi Private Bank's Citi Trust Division also has hired Jane Monahan, 56, as a director and head of its Delaware trust business.
Based in New Castle, Del., she will manage a team of trust professionals and will develop Citi Trust's reputation in the Delaware community, monitor trust services to clients and collaborate with corporate partners.
Previously, Ms. Monahan was executive vice president and managing director at RBS Coutts Bank Ltd. Trust and Fiduciary Services of Zurich.
UAT Inc. of Englewood, Colo., has hired Austin Moon, 36, as a partner and managing director on its sales team.
Based in Austin, Texas, he is responsible for delivering automation benefits and cost savings to corporate plan sponsors, public and Taft-Hartley plans, endowments and foundations, as well as their money managers.
Previously, Mr. Moon was vice president of new-business development at National Planning Corp. of Santa Monica, Calif.
Securian Financial Group Inc. of St. Paul, Minn., has named Doug Schubert, 50, director of retirement plan technology.
He will oversee the business technology unit for Securian's retirement plan product line.
Previously, Mr. Schubert was a manager in the same division.
Wells Fargo Advisors LLC of St. Louis has named Kent Christian, 50, president of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network.
He will lead the firm's business channels and report to Wells Fargo Advisors' independent brokerage unit.
Previously, Mr. Christian was president of its financial services segment.
