Cahill Financial Advisors Inc. of Edina, Minn., has hired Michelle Beckenbaugh, 25, as associate financial planner.

Her role in- cludes reviewing client portfolios, assisting in the development of financial plans and providing client service.

Previously, Ms. Beckenbaugh was a student at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan.

U.S. Bank Wealth Management of Minneapolis has promoted Mike Ott, 50, to president of The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank, from president of the Central Region and Twin Cities market leader.

He oversees 1,300 employees in 19 states who collectively manage the bank’s high-net-worth business.

In addition, U.S. Bank Wealth Management has hired Kenneth Palattao, 48, as vice president and health care banking specialist for The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank, responsible for providing solutions for clients’ health care practice and banking needs.

Previously, he was vice president of operations and surgical services for the Mayo Clinic Health System in Rochester, Minn.

Wealthfront Inc. of Palo Alto, Calif., has promoted Adam Nash, 39, to chief executive from chief operating officer.

He is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company.

Cabana Asset Management of Fayetteville, Ark., has hired James Olmore, 46, as a wealth adviser and senior vice president, responsible for providing investment management and financial planning services.

Previously, he was a vice president at Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services of Boston.

In addition, Cabana Asset Management has hired Thomas Zirbel, 61, as chief operating officer, responsible for helping to expand the company’s subadvisory services to other registered investment advisers.

Previously, he was a principal at Tamarac Consulting of Seattle.

Bay Crest Partners of New York has hired Kumaron Vijayakumar, 39, as president, responsible for helping the company grow.

Previously, he was head of trading and equity derivatives at MF Global of New York, which is now defunct.

Soltis Investment Advisors of St. George, Utah, has hired William W. Wallace, 55, as director of investment research and strategic development, responsible for helping bring in new clients.

Previously, he was senior vice president and regional portfolio manager at Key Bank in Salt Lake City.

Atlantic Trust of Atlanta has hired John C. Tennaro, 37, as vice president and senior investment analyst, responsible for external-investment-manager due diligence.

Previously, he was manager of investment research for Commonwealth Financial Network of Waltham, Mass.

Mariner Wealth Advisors of Leawood, Kan., has hired Justin Richter, 32, as a senior wealth adviser, helping individuals and families with financial decisions.

Previously, he was a senior vice president at BOK Financial Corp. of Tulsa, Okla.

O’Shaughnessy Asset Management of Stamford, Conn., has hired Mark Vernon, 43, as vice president of financial adviser services, responsible for sales and relationship management responsibilities with financial advisers.

Previously, he was regional vice president and external wholesaler at Guggenheim Investments of Chicago and New York.
