Stifel Financial Corp. of St. Louis has hired William J. Drake, 55, as senior vice president of investments and branch manager of the Hackensack, N.J., office of its broker-dealer subsidiary, Stifel Nicolaus & Co. Inc.

Previously, he was a complex manager at Wells Fargo Advisors of St. Louis.

Wilmington (Del.) Trust NA has hired Hunter Wilson, 53, as a managing director.

He will work primarily to introduce affluent clients to the company’s wealth services.

Previously, Mr. Wilson was a senior partner at GenSpring Family Offices in New York.

Beta Wealth Group Inc. of San Diego has hired James Olmore, 46, as a wealth adviser and senior vice president, providing investment man-agement and financial planning services.

Previously, he was a vice president in Newport Beach, Calif., with Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services of Boston.

Argent Capital Management of St. Louis has promoted Scott A. Harrison, 37, to portfolio manager, from senior research analyst.

He will provide management services to clients such as endowments, foundations, pension funds and individuals.

Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Springfield has promoted John Cunningham, 52, to regional sales director for the retirement services division, covering Western Massachusetts, eastern Upstate New York and Vermont.

Previously, he was regional sales director for career agency sales.

The company has made several other hires.

Jason Bouldin, 42, is managing director of the retirement service division, covering sales and client management in Alabama and Georgia. Previously, he was regional director at Great-West Financial in Atlanta.

Lauren Drapeau, 35, is regional sales director for the retirement services division, covering Connecticut, excluding Fairfield County. Previously, she was a regional vice president for MetLife Inc. of New York.

Jon Ogren, 46, is also a regional sales director, covering Kansas, Nebraska and Western Missouri. Previously, he was a retirement plan consultant in Overland Park, Kan., with The Standard of Portland, Ore.

U.S. Bank Wealth Management of Minneapolis has hired Jeff Zipper, 50, as senior vice president and senior portfolio managing director for Florida at The Private Client Reserve.

He will advise clients and manage portfolios.

Previously, Mr. Zipper was senior vice president and senior investment adviser with PNC Wealth Management in Palm Beach, Fla.

Steward Partners Global Advisory of Washington has hired Hy Saporta, 40, as chief operating officer and managing director.

He will focus on expanding operations.

Previously, Mr. Saporta was chief operating officer for the global learning and development division of Citigroup Inc. of New York.

Securian Trust Co. NA of St. Paul, Minn., has hired Tamra Davis Cownie, 50, as vice president and trust officer.

She works with clients and financial advisers to manage the complexities of wealth acquisition and pres-ervation.

Previously, Ms. Cownie was a trust relationship manager at The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank in Minneapolis.

In addition, the firm has promoted John Rothchild, 32, to vice president and wealth management counsel, from senior wealth management counsel associate.

He will support financial advisers with financial planning services.

Securities America Inc. of La Vista, Neb., has hired Paul Merz, 57, as a registered representative to advise clients on their financial affairs.

Previously, he was a registered rep in Beachwood, Ohio, with ValMark Securities Inc. of Akron, Ohio.

Soltis Investment Advisors of St. George, Utah, has promoted Hal Anderson, 55, to chief executive and chief investment officer, from vice president and chief financial officer.

He will oversee all wealth management and the development of partnerships.

Camden Capital of El Segundo, Calif., has hired Constantine Hatzivassiliou, 38, as managing director.

He will focus on advising affluent individuals, families and institutions.

Previously, Mr. Hatzivassiliou was a vice president in Palm Beach, Fla., with The Bank of New York Mellon Corp.
