A $1 billion super OSJ leaves NPC for Royal Alliance

Strategic Partners of Kansas oversees 38 advisers.

Strategic Partners, an office of supervisory jurisdiction that administered more than $1.1 billion in assets while affiliated with National Planning Corp., has affiliated with Royal Alliance Associates, part of the Advisor Group.

Founded by Chris Lubbers in 1994, Strategic Partners is based in Parsons, Kan., and oversees advisers in Arkansas, Connecticut, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Texas.

The move is the latest in a series of OSJ and super OSJ departures from NPC in the wake of the acquisition of its parent, National Planning Holdings, by LPL Financial in August.
