Summary:
The Investment Counsel Company, Nevadas first investment management consulting firm and a recognized leader in the industry, is seeking a Senior Investment Consultant (IC) who will make a significant contribution by providing valued guidance, perspective, and judgment to current and prospective clients and capitalizing on business opportunities consistent with continuing to build a world-class financial organization.
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Salary Range: $125,000 - $200,000 base salary, commensurate with experience, comprehensive benefits package and bonus.
Executive Management Responsibilities:
Management Committee Member sharing responsibility for the development, organization and coordination of ICCs team and resources necessary for achievement of company goals and objectives.
Assist in implementation and management of business model strategies, tactics, and skills.
Investment Committee Member working collaboratively with research team to develop and oversee company investment opportunities.
Research new investment products, strategies, and concepts.
Stay at the forefront of investment and other related knowledge (economic, financial, political, and tax related information and theory) necessary to service Firms target client market.
Create Firm commentary and other correspondence for dissemination to clients and outside sources.
Client Management Responsibilities:
Develop, coordinate, oversee preparation and conduct presentations and review meetings.
Identify and confirm client needs for development and maintenance of Investment Policy Statement (IPS) in accordance with their stated objectives.
Collect data, construct and present cash flow analyses.
Guide clients in developing asset allocation strategy.
Prepare and present investment implementation strategy.
Educate clients regarding their current investment strategy, related portfolio analytics and tax information.
Communicate ICCs outlook on current investment, economic, and political environment.
Prepare and conduct 401(k) participant education meetings.
Oversee and ensure promised services and activities resulting from client meetings are completed.
Requirements:

Strong investment knowledge with ability to present complex information in a manner that enables clients to make informed investment decisions.

Extensive knowledge of existing investment management consulting and business software as well as propensity to master new programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required
Advanced degree and professional designations preferred (CFA, CIMA, CFP, etc.)
Minimum of seven (7) years of investment industry experience
Advanced analytical skills and math aptitude.
Experienced and articulate presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
To Be Obtained:
Series 65 or equivalent
Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)
Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA)
Other accreditations and/or certifications as required
