9. Walter Andrews
The main character in a situation comedy called 'The Tycoon,' Walter Andrews is chairman of the board of The Thunder Corporation. Played by veteran actor Walter Brennan, Andrews has given up actively running his company, but still insists on helping persons in need. This was supposed to lead to comedy hijinks, but rarely did, and the show was cancelled in 1965 after just 32 episodes. The show co-starred Van Williams, who would later go on to star in 'The Green Hornet.' Character-actor Brennan, who soon after appeared in 'The Guns of Will Sonnett,' won three Academy Awards by 1940. Yes he did.
