Wall Streeters went into hiding after the financial crisis struck in 2008. At the time, investment bankers and brokers of all stripes found themselves on the end of an unrelenting drubbing, and many of Wall Street's elite admitted that the kill-or-be-killed attitude of the Street had to change. Less than two years later, the humility had vanished. Indeed, a screed from an anonymous trader that circulated among firms in 2010 showed that Wall Street was back to its ugly, self-aggrandizing best.
