Indonesians don't use much fuel — consuming .08 gallons a day, or one third the global average. Then again, you're not likely to do a lot of driving — and thus consume petrol — when the average daily income for a citizen is $11. Indonesians outside of Jakarta rely a great deal on animals to provide horsepower. They get better mileage.
