Ellison is the founder and largest shareholder of software publisher Oracle. Ellison, who holds a 23 percent stake in Oracle, also owns 46 percent of CRM specialist NetSuite and a controlling interest in educational software maker LeapFrog Enterprises. Ellison likes his real estate. He bought producer Jerry Bruckheimer‘s three-bed, three-bath bungalow on Malibu's Carbon Beach, along with a 10,300-square foot compound nearby for which he paid nearly $37M.
