While the rest of the financial advice industry has been focusing on moving upstream and working with more lucrative clients, Sheryl Garrett has been the driving force for offering holistic financial planning to the masses. She founded Garrett Planning Network in 2000. Its mission? To offer hourly financial planning services to middle class families who don’t meet the minimum requirements at traditional financial planning firms. The network has since grown to 325 members, and Mrs. Garrett has her eyes set on 1,500.
