Megan Donnelly, Quabbin Advisors
A member of the U.S. field hockey team that placed eighth at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea, Megan Donnelly is an RIA and financial planner who heads her own firm in Moosic, Pa.
Her advice: "Try to enjoy every moment; the Olympics are so special. You'll be so pumped at some points that you can't sleep. But that's OK. Don't worry about anything. Talk to athletes from other nations whenever you can. Go to other events. You'll be tired at times, but your adrenaline will be pumping and you'll have plenty of energy for everything you want to do.
On competing: "Let it rip. Have fun. By qualifying for the Olympics, you are already among the best athletes in the world, so the stressful part is over. You belong there. Now, show the world what you can do."
