Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Awards
InvestmentNews is proud to introduce the inaugural Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Awards. This new recognition program will identify and celebrate individuals, advisory firms, industry partners and institutions for their work around diversity and inclusion initiatives. The award honorees will be announced in a special InvestmentNews Diversity Issue on July 9. Please plan to join us for the live event to celebrate the winners on October 9 in New York. Check back here to nominate an individual or firm beginning on Feb. 26!
We welcome all individuals, firms and organizations meeting the following eligibility requirements:
For individual awards, we are looking for financial advisers or industry professionals who support advisers and have been effective role models for their efforts to bring diversity and to create an inclusive culture in the financial adviser business.
For advisory firm awards, nominees must be registered investment advisory firms, independent broker-dealer affiliates, or branch offices of a wirehouse, insurance firm, or brokerage, and have fostered diversity and inclusion within their own firms, among clients (especially those who have been traditionally ignored by financial service professionals), or within the financial advice industry as a whole.
For the non-advisory firm awards, we are looking for firms that serve the financial advice profession, including but not limited to, broker-dealers, custodians, asset managers, insurance firms, fintech companies, educational institutions and other industry organizations that have encouraged diversity and inclusion within their firms or within the financial advice profession.
