The mission of the Investment Program Association (IPA) is to advocate direct investments through education. To successfully accomplish this mission, IPA continually develops education resources that create a better dialogue between clients and their advisors.
The IPA has committed to furthering women's success through their Women's Initiatives Network Committee. This Committee is focused on identifying, addressing and advancing issues of interest to women working in the Direct Investment Industry. The Committee aims to advance women's issues through several initiatives, including the creation of a mentoring program for individuals across the different industry constituencies who share an interest in these initiatives.
The Investment Program Association (IPA) was formed in 1985 to provide effective national leadership for the direct investment industry. The IPA supports individual investor access to a variety of asset classes not correlated to the traded markets and historically available only to institutional investors. These investments include public non-listed REITs (NLREITs) and Business Development Companies (BDCs), Energy and Equipment Leasing Programs, and private equity offerings.
