The Lifetime Achievement Award

InvestmentNews’ inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Alexandra Armstrong, chairwoman and founder of Armstrong Fleming & Moore Inc.

The annual award celebrates pioneers in the field of financial planning. It recognizes women who have had long careers as advisers, a track record of leadership in the profession and/or at charitable organizations, and a demonstrated commitment to service as a role model or mentor to other women. It also acknowledges women who have earned the admiration and respect of their peers.

The recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award was chosen by InvestmentNews’ selection committee and will be honored at a leadership event dedicated to women in the industry, including the Women to Watch list, slated for March 2016 in New York.

The Women to Watch list recognizes 20 women in the industry who have demonstrated success, leadership, the ability to effect change, a willingness to help other female professionals and a record of community service.

A donation will be made on behalf of the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient to a charitable organization of her choice, one that is working to help women advance in the financial advice business.
