Hearsay Systems, the New York-based maker of Advisor Cloud communications solutions, has acquired the technology and intellectual property assets of Mast Mobile, a New York-based company whose software integrates mobile communications with CRM systems.

Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

Hearsay said it will apply Mast’s technology to advance its Hearsay Messages text-based client outreach solution for financial advisers and insurance agents so that advisory firms can better integrate their mobile messages with customer relationship management systems.

David Messenger, co-founder and CEO of Mast, will work with Hearsay in a consultative capacity, the company said in a release.
