Team advising on $2 billion leaves Avondale for Janney

Three-adviser group in Franklin, Tenn., serves retirement plans.

Glasgow Wealth Management Group, which advised on nearly $2 billion in individual accounts and corporate client retirement plans, has joined Janney Montgomery Scott from Avondale Partners, a Tennessee-based independent advisory firm.

The group, based in Franklin, Tenn., is headed by Steven Glasgow, and includes advisers Stephen Evans and Jordan Sibler.

Mr. Glasgow began his career at the Stuart-James Co. in 1989 and worked at five firms before joining Avondale in 2009.

Mr. Evans began his career at NBC Securities in 2006, moved to Financial Telesis in 2009 and then to Kestra in 2014 before joining Avondale last year.

Mr. Sibler, who began his career in 2005 at Wachovia, joined Stanford in 2008 and Avondale in 2009.
