HighTower taps three new executives for senior roles

RIA consolidator fills senior marketing and practice management spots.

HighTower Advisors said Monday that it had tapped three senior financial services executives to fill marketing and practice management jobs at the firm, which has $48.1 billion in assets and consists of 98 advisory businesses.

Abby Salameh, formerly with Private Advisor Group, has joined HighTower as chief marketing officer. Gregory Fink, formerly of ACG Wealth, is head of adviser success. And Catherine Davies, who most recently worked with Fidelity Brokerage Services and Fidelity’s National Financial Services, is chief of staff.

HighTower recently has undergone some revamping of its senior management.

Launched in 2007, HighTower announced last summer that founder Elliot Weissbluth would be transitioning from CEO to board chairman. In January, HighTower said that industry veteran Bob Oros had taken over as CEO of the Chicago-based RIA consolidator.

In October 2017, HighTower said it was selling a large stake in its business to Thomas H. Lee Partners, a private-equity firm.
