On April 1, Commonwealth terminated Mr. Bourgeois for borrowing money from a customer, which is a violation of Finra rules. On April 5, Commonwealth filed an amended form U5 that disclosed a civil litigation in which a customer alleged that Mr. Bourgeois defrauded her and took her money.

Mr. Bourgeois began his securities career in 1991 and worked at eight firms before affiliating with Commonwealth in 2015.
