Merrill Lynch trio managing $300 million goes indie with Raymond James

Waterstreet Financial sets up shop in Sandusky, Ohio.

Three advisers managing $300 million at Merrill Lynch in Sandusky, Ohio, have formed Waterstreet Financial and affiliated with independent unit of Raymond James.

Joining advisers Dustin Ness, Chris Nuetzel and Keith Sweigert from Merrill Lynch are Emily Bosley, the team’s business manager, and Amy Daley, its operations manager.

Mr. Ness began his securities career in 2005 at A.G. Edwards. He moved to Stifel Nicolaus in 2006 and joined Merrill Lynch in 2010.

Mr. Nuetzel, who joined Merrill Lynch in 2013 from Wells Fargo, began his career in 1987 at A.G. Edwards, which was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2008.

Mr. Sweigert began his career at Merrill Lynch in 2009.
