Finra bars no-show former Vanguard rep in communications inquiry

Gregory Braccili signed a jury exception letter without company permission

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc. has barred former Vanguard representative Gregory John Braccili for failing to take part in a Finra investigation of his activities at the firm.

In May 2018 Mr. Braccili was discharged by Vanguard for "violating the firm's professional conduct policy by engaging in an unauthorized activity outside of his role in a manner that disregarded the directive of his management team, and by signing a jury duty exception letter unbeknownst to department management," according to his BrokerCheck record.

Mr. Braccili, who joined Vanguard in 2011, is no longer associated with a Finra-member firm.
