Hybrid broker managing $130 million switches to LPL from Amerprise

Joshua Lambert took over his father's Ohio-based business after 15 years.

Joshua Lambert, who managed $130 million as a hybrid broker at Amerprise Financial in Mount Vernon, Ohio, has affiliated with LPL Financial’s broker-dealer and corporate registered investment adviser platforms.

Mr. Lambert joined his father, John, in the family’s business — the Lambert Investment Group — in 2004. His father founded the firm in 1984, and the younger Mr. Lambert took it over in 2012.

The firm’s client base consists mostly of middle-class workers, small business owners and retirees in their hometown, which is northeast of Columbus.
