Lifestages: The 30-something client
In a four-part series called Lifestage that begins today, InvestmentNews is exploring those same issues with four segments of the investment advice market. We want to learn what makes the people in these demographics tick and to explore their relationship with money and investing — especially in light of the financial crisis and recession. At the same time, we want to identify the best ways for advisers to reach and interact with clients at different stages of their lives.
Our first Lifestage report focuses on people in their 30s.
They are climbing the career ladder, getting married, having children and buying their first home. It is also a time when they are facing the sacrifices required to save for their children’s college education and for their own retirement.
