SavingforCollege.com recently ranked the top adviser-sold Section 529 college savings plans based on their five-year performance. Each plan’s composite ranking is based on the average of its percentile ranking in seven asset allocation categories. It includes calculation of the maximum sales charges and is based on data through June 30.
SavingforCollege.com’s 10-year ranking is listed when available (N/A signifies the plan hasn’t been in existence long enough to qualify in at least four investment categories).
Other pertinent data for these plans, like most recent Morningstar Inc. rating and investment options, also are shown.
