Wacker Wealth Partners
- Wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon in college.
- Interest in investing developed at age 7 when his uncle gave him stock in Hasbro for Christmas.
- Served as student body president in junior high and high school.
Ryan Caldwell is clear about it: “My most impassioned contribution has been through teaching financial literacy classes to high school students through United Way and to other groups locally that cannot afford professional financial advice. Having seen what financial struggle does to families, I work to give people simple tools so they can live without financial stress.”
Mr. Caldwell has been at Wacker Wealth Partners for more than 10 years. He helped the firm create the company’s clients-only private alternative funds and was selected as the firm’s CEO by its partners, all senior to him. Prior to joining the firm, he was with Fisher Investments.
He was a member of the 2016 class of the Schwab Executive Leadership Program, which he said “has been instrumental in my development as a next-generation leader of our firm.”
Mr. Caldwell is a strong believer and “torchbearer” for the fee-only model. “It puts me on the same side of the table as my clients,” he said.
He has served on the board for the regional Financial Planning Association chapter and was a regional coordinator.
