InvestmentNews gathered many of its 2018 Women to Watch class in New York City in October to discuss how the industry can better support women in the financial advice business. Credit: Brad Trent

In its fourth year, the InvestmentNews Women to Watch recognition program is honoring 22 female financial advisers and industry executives who are advancing the financial advice industry.

These leaders have shown a willingness to share their expertise with others in the business, especially other women, and to give back to their communities. The 2018 Women to Watch list was chosen by an InvestmentNews selection committee from hundreds of nominations.

Please enjoy their stories that highlight the accomplishments and challenges of these women and describe the paths they took while forging successful careers in a male-dominated industry.

Are there women you know, maybe even at your firm, who have done the same? If so, tell us about their efforts next June when we call for nominations for the 2019 Women to Watch program.
