Tom Ruggie is a visionary wealth manager, executive, and entrepreneur who has spent more than three decades building one of the country’s pre-eminent wealth management organizations, comprised of an independent RIA, multiple wealth management firms, various alternative investment funds, co-investment fund, and other privileged investment initiatives to enhance client offerings.
In 2017, Ruggie founded Destiny Family Office to guide wealth creators, wealth inheritors, and their families with situations like his, through the challenges and complexities that come from building, managing, and preserving significant wealth, while navigating the demands of both family and business.
He created Destiny Family Office to provide high-impact “single-family-office” services in an integrated, multi-family office setting. Both he and his firm have earned national recognition as advocates for HNW and UHNW investors, who, despite significant resources, have not previously had privileged access to sophisticated institutional-caliber alternative, direct or co-investment platforms with broad manager access, underpinned by strong research capabilities.
An avid collector himself, Ruggie has also achieved a deepening national prominence for his niche focus on planning for and managing collectibles as an alternative asset class. He helps top-tier collectors and their advisors integrate their valuable collections into all aspects of their wealth management, tax, and estate planning strategies.
