Anne Fontanet is team lead, Advanced Planning at Commonwealth. Having joined in July 2022, she is responsible for reviewing and summarizing plans and legal documents, as well as reviewing planning objectives to identify opportunities to meet clients’ needs.
Before joining Commonwealth, Fontanet was an associate attorney at Gosselin & Kyriakidis (now Gosselin Law) and a law clerk for criminal defense attorneys at various law offices. She spent four years at University College Dublin in Ireland and Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas in France pursuing a double degree in comparative law and international law, earning the French and Irish equivalent of an American JD. She then earned an LLM in U.S. and international law from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Fontanet is also a licensed attorney in New York, an enrolled agent with the IRS, and has the CPWA certification.
