Nitesh Ambastha is head of AI at LPL Financial, where he also serves as chief information officer for Enterprise Data and Investor Experience. He owns LPL's firmwide AI strategy and posture, setting how the firm adopts, governs, and scales AI across its platforms and businesses.
Ambastha leads LPL's Data & AI technology organization and the resilient, governed platforms that ingest, standardize, and deliver enterprise data at scale. As chief information officer for Investor Experience, Nitesh owns the technology that advisors and investors touch every day — from client acquisition and wealth planning to custody, clearing, and the continued evolution of LPL's Account View platform.
Before joining LPL in 2023, Ambastha spent his career modernizing data and technology inside the world's most demanding financial institutions. At J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., he was chief technology officer for Asset & Wealth Management, leading large-scale transformation of the division's data and AI platforms. He previously led operations and data technology for Asset Management at UBS Group AG, and directed global front-office and distribution technology for wealth and asset management at Credit Suisse Group AG.
Ambastha holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is based in New York City.
