iCapital, a fintech focused on alternative investments, will offer structured investments to financial advisors on the Envestnet platform.

“This first-to-market integration brings structured investments into an advisor’s suite of investment solutions and gives them a 360-degree view of client finances,” Jillian Altamura, managing director and head of platform partnerships at iCapital, said in a statement.

The offering, powered by Simon from iCapital, provides advisors with proposal generation for structured investments, along with analytical features, trading workflows and the ability to integrate data on structured investments into client reports.

“The integration allows advisors to add fee-based structured investments into proposals, transact on those products and assess them next to more traditional asset classes without ever leaving the Envestnet ecosystem,” said Dana D’Auria, co-chief investment officer at Envestnet and group president of Envestnet Solutions.

Simon from iCapital also provides a learning center with educational resources for advisors and clients, including more than 90 videos.
