Boston wealth firm breaks new ground in portfolio personalization
New solution for RIAs and family offices speeds up investment management with innovative household wealth optimization feature.

NDVR, a Boston-based wealth management firm with a heavy focus on technology, has just unveiled a novel solution that allows financial advisors to manage and optimize client portfolios.

Billed as a dramatic step forward in the asset management space, the firm’s updated NDVR Portfolio Lab allows for the creation of highly personalized investment strategies in a matter of minutes.

Tailored for RIAs, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, the innovative platform aims to simplify the complex process of portfolio construction and management.

NDVR’s new technology enables advisors to tailor investment strategies and asset allocations to the unique needs and goals of each client. Its outcome forecasting capability also opens the door for more up-to-date portfolio personalization than previously possible.

“We assembled a team of Ph.D.s, financial service veterans, and tech innovators to make the advanced portfolio construction capabilities of a sophisticated family office available to every advisor serving any size of client,” Michael Simon, founder and CEO of NDVR, said in a statement. “Our goal is to empower advisors to improve expected outcomes for their clients and build longer-lasting relationships.”

Through a new household wealth optimization feature, NDVR’s Portfolio Lab lets advisor users create diversified portfolios spanning multiple asset classes and account types – including taxable accounts, IRAs, and trusts – with the ability to deploy portfolios automatically with one click. It also introduces capabilities for optimizing tax-advantaged account distributions and provides actionable insights through "what-if" scenarios.

NDVR accommodates an array of strategies – driven by individual security purchases rather than mutual funds or ETFs – including custom indexing, targeted portfolio returns through liquid alternatives, dynamic withdrawal protection, and tax-advantaged fixed income solutions.

“We're proud to have built a portfolio optimization platform that gives advisors access to intelligent solutions not previously available to retail investors," said Stephanie Lo, NDVR's chief research officer. "These institutional-grade strategies, backed by rigorous analysis and research, are the foundation of helping us build better portfolios for our clients."

Why custom direct indexing will be the next big thing on Wall Street
