Raymond James notches wins in the Sun Belt with advisor additions

Together, the ex-Merrill Lynch advisor in Florida and the Wells Fargo alum in New Mexico reported managing $250M in assets.

Raymond James has strengthened its national presence with the addition of two financial advisors in Florida and New Mexico.

In Tampa, Florida, financial advisor Sloane Fox has joined Raymond James Financial Services, the firm’s independent advisor channel. She’s coming over from Merrill Lynch, where she reported managing approximately $125 million in client assets.

Fox, the founder of Sloane Financial Planning in Tampa, specializes in personalized financial services catering to a diverse clientele, including families, women investors, and retirees. A 25-year veteran of the industry, she is accompanied by Tracie Bailey, a registered client service associate.

“I joined Raymond James to provide advice and guidance to my clients in a way that I see fit to best serve their needs,” Fox said, highlighting the firm’s comprehensive approach to financial planning, emphasizing its support in areas such as estate planning, tax planning, and investment management.

Meanwhile, Robert Jones has transitioned to Raymond James & Associates, the company’s employee advisor channel, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Previously managing $125 million in client assets at Wells Fargo Clearing Services, Jones brings a robust portfolio of experience accumulated over four decades in the industry. His professional background includes positions at Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, and Merrill Lynch, culminating in a recent stint as vice president investment officer at Wells Fargo.

“The culture present at Raymond James mirrors the same principles I’ve built my career on – a deep dedication to delivering high-quality service to clients and a long-term approach to helping them achieve their financial goals,” Jones said.
