The radio special, which will be broadcast on stations in six cities, will raise money for pandemic relief efforts

As part of a nationwide effort to help support COVID-19 pandemic relief efforts, the Alliance for Lifetime Income is sponsoring a Rolling Stones “No Filter” radio tour on iHeartRadio.

The six-city on-air “tour” of six of the company’s broadcast and streaming rock and classic rock stations, in Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh and St. Louis, will showcase an hour-long special of Rolling Stones music hits, interviews with the band and live recordings from past concerts.

The special program, which had been postponed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, will provide financial support to food banks in each of the six cities where IHeartRadio stations will carry the tour in late June and throughout July.

In 2019, the group was the sole sponsor of the Rolling Stones’ 16-show U.S. tour.

The Alliance, a nonprofit consumer education organization raising awareness about the need for protected lifetime income, noted that three out of four respondents to a recent survey are concerned about the pandemic’s impact on retirement investments.
