A pair of advisors who oversaw $200 million at Securities America, which is part of Advisor Group, has affiliated with LPL Financial, the firm said Wednesday, and will use its broker-dealer, RIA and custodial platforms.
Stephen Walker and Wes Alston founded Walker Alston Financial Group in San Antonio in 2017. Two staffers join them in the move to LPL.
“Given the market volatility and current environment, we decided it was time to find a new partner at a larger firm to provide clients with a better foothold,” Alston said in the statement.
With the move to LPL, “our clients will have enhanced technology and easy access to their account information, all incorporated into one easy to use system,” he added.
