Cresset Asset Management has acquired Asset Management Advisors Inc., a Houston-based registered investment adviser managing $484 million. With this addition Cresset — which is based in Chicago — now manages more than $14.5 billion.
Founded in 1986, Asset Management Advisors is headed by Lynn Mathre and has expertise in tax planning and alternative investments.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
