WisdomTree Trust, part of WisdomTree Investments Inc., will launch a new ETF offering exposure to small-cap stocks in emerging markets. The WisdomTree Trust ETF (DGS) is designed to track the New York-based firm’s emerging markets small-cap dividend index in 19 emerging markets nations, and is intended to reduce the volatility to which market-cap weighted indexes are prone, the firm said in a statement. DGS will trade on the New York Stock Exchange Arca and with a 0.63% expense ratio. “The launch marks WisdomTree’s 27th pure international ETF, and continues our commitment to offer the most comprehensive international offering covering the developed world, emerging markets and non-U.S. sectors,” said president and COO Bruce Lavine in a statement.
