Albridge Solutions has announced the availability of version 2.0 of its AppLink technology, which is intended for use by its broker-dealer clients and their 100,000 financial advisers. In final testing over the last five months, the single-sign-on and data-sharing technology provides connectivity to more than three dozen third-party applications from within the Albridge Wealth Reporting platform and allows those applications to be populated with client data aggregated by Albridge. In addition to the application integrations, the new version of AppLink can be used by broker-dealers to provide advisers with access to asset managers and mutual fund data through PNC Global Investment Servicing. (Albridge is owned by PNC Financial Services Group Inc.) “Essentially, what we have created is a secure data integration hub for the partner community,” said Jake Rohn, executive vice president of strategic development at Albridge Solutions. The applications integrated with the AppLink technology represent a range of categories, including financial planning, customer relationship management, research and analysis, estate planning and automated forms applications. A small sampling of the application partners included are the financial planning programs MoneyGuidePro from PIE Technologies Inc. and NaviPlan from EISI; the CRM applications Junxure I from CRM Software Inc. and that from Redtail Technology; Morningstar Advisor Workstation Enterprise Edition and Office Edition in the research and analysis category; the Aralia Advisor estate planning platform; and automated forms applications from LaserApp and Quik! Forms Library from Efficient Technology Inc. United Planners' Financial Services of America is the first broker-dealer to implement the latest version of the AppLink system. “Our strategy here is to look at this as an open framework. Any firm that has a business need to interact with Albridge can become a partner — it is not a restricted or exclusive club,” Mr. Rohn said, adding, “with AppLink we are empowering broker-dealers to build their own wealth reporting platform.” For additional information visit Albridge Solutions. CashEdge rolls out new version of AllData Advisor Account aggregation provider CashEdge Inc. on Thursday introduced a new version of its AllData Advisor service that includes an adviser dashboard view with consolidated aggregation alerts, messages and summary information for accounts and clients. In addition, the new version allows advisers to personalize their AllData main page and set up the system to deliver HTML e-mail alerts. It also provides some select partners with the ability to export data. AllData Advisor — which integrates with many adviser-focused applications, including Albridge, eMoney Advisor and MoneyGuidePro — collects its data from more than 10,000 sources, including the banking, investment, retirement, insurance, credit card, mortgage and annuities industries, allowing advisers to see a holistic view of client assets and liabilities. CashEdge developed the upgrades in response to adviser feedback over the past year. CashEdge AllData competes with Custodial Integrator from ByAllAccounts and services provided by Advent Software Inc. Visit CashEdge Inc. or the AllDataAdvisor main page for more information.
