Envestnet adds loan facility to platform
'Credit Exchange' will enable advisers to offer pre-qualified loans to clients.
APR 09, 2019

Envestnet has introduced a program that integrates lending solutions with its platform. Called the Envestnet Credit Exchange, the program involves a partnership with Advisor Credit Exchange (ACE), which created an advice-driven program that allows advisers to offer a range of pre-qualified loans to clients. Envestnet said that advisers using its platform will have access to a streamlined screening process that generates real-time, immediately available loan offers for their clients with direct referrals to lenders. (More:Masterworks is opening fine art investing to the masses) "The new offering significantly enhances an adviser's capacity to provide a fully integrated wealth management solution that is comparable to that of any wealth management firm or banking/lending institution in the market," said Peter Stanton, founder of ACE. Credit options that may be available include consumer loans such as securities-based, residential real estate, unsecured personal loans, fine art and other luxury asset-backed loans. The offering will also include commercial and business loans, which will be introduced at a later time.
