Dallas, TX – At the fifth TD Ameritrade Institutional Technology Summit, which has brought together some of the industry's top technology firms, TDAI introduced its first-ever “Veo Integrated Awards.” Specifically, the awards were developed to acknowledge six of the financial advice businesses' most innovative technology providers – particularly those that have fully leveraged TDAI's Veo Open Access platform and enabled advisers to be more productive, efficient and satisfied. TDAI recognized the winners in three distinct categories: An “Innovation Award” went to companies whose technology has the deepest level of integration with Veo and with other third- party applications. A “Newcomer of the Year Award” recognized innovative technology companies that first went live with their Veo integration in 2013. Finally, “The Advisor Satisfaction Award” went to two firms that were chosen based on a survey of nearly 500 registered independent advisors that are currently on the TDAI platform. The inaugural winners of the 2014 Veo Integrated Awards are: Innovation Award: Orion Advisor Services (Portfolio Management) and Redtail Technology (Customer Relationship Management) Advisor Satisfaction Award: Junxure (Customer Relationship Management) and MoneyGuidePro (Financial Planning) Newcomer of the Year Award: AdvisoryWorld (Analytics) and Morningstar Office (Portfolio Management) “We want to thank these firms for their leadership in leveraging the flexibility of Veo and achieving the highest levels of technology integration,” said Jon Patullo, managing director of technology solutions at TD Ameritrade Institutional. “These companies are giving RIAs the tools they need to serve their clients better, increase efficiency and improve their firms' financial performance.”
