Two popular adviser applications now integrated with PreciseFP

JUL 29, 2010
The creators of PreciseFP, a slick-looking online client questionnaire for use by financial advisers, today announced integrations with the popular Redtail customer relationship management software and Laser App a form-filling application used by many registered investment advisers and broker-dealers. “PreciseFP is really a replacement for the paper-based gathering of data from clients,” said Don Whalen a certified financial planner and co-founder of Spectrum Input LLC, the company behind PreciseFP. “We’ve made that process a whole lot easier, faster, and less prone to error — not to mention more enjoyable for the client,” he added. In a nutshell, once clients have entered data into PreciseFP that data can in turn be shared with integrated programs within a click or two, thereby allowing advisers to avoid manual data entry. PreciseFP already had integrations with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM application as well as MoneyGuidePro and MoneyTree, two financial planning programs popular with advisers. “Now the adviser can add client, spouse, and family members’ details to Redtail with the click of a button. Redtail also captures all assets, insurance policies, and liabilities so that authorized users can access that information at any time, anywhere,” said Whalen. In addition to its form-filling software Laser App also has a very large repository of industry forms, including those of custodians and broker-dealers. With the integration, client information collected in PreciseFP including addresses, dates of birth, driver’s license info, beneficiary information etc. can flow through to the forms that require this data so that accounts can be opened and assets transferred to the adviser with fewer delays. PreciseFP costs $19.99 per month and is browser and operating system agnostic. Advisers also have the option of customizing their access pages with their own logo information. We’ll have more detail on how the system works, is built, as well as more from my interview with Don Whalen and discussions with advisers using the application. You can also head over to the homepages for Redtail Technology and Laser App Software for more on those applications.
