A financial advisor who began her career as a branch office administrator at Edward Jones is returning to the firm in Winchester, Virginia.

Julie Wise rejoins the firm after eight years with Wells Fargo Advisors, where she was part of a team managing $300 million in client assets.

Wise spent three years with Edward Jones in her previous role, having spent 20 years in the real estate and mortgage industry. She explained why she has decided to return.

"Edward Jones is where I found a real passion for the investment and financial services industry more than a decade ago,” Wise said. “I’m impressed with the firm’s robust tools and resources, and, as always, Edward Jones’ continued dedication to improving the lives of its clients — something I’m very passionate about. I’m excited to come back ‘home’ to Edward Jones where it all began.”

Wise will be joined by branch office administrators Karis Holnagel Frey and Denise Orsino, who together have spent more than 14 years with the firm.

Edward Jones has nearly 19,000 financial advisors serving more than 8 million clients with a total of $1.8 trillion in client assets under care at the end of June 2023.

Along with its digital initiatives and virtual business enablement tools to help support clients, the firm recently announced a strategic partnership with Citi to offer traditional banking services from 2024.
