Arizona credit union's $638 million retail unit switches to Raymond James

Desert Financial Wealth Management, the retail wealth management program of Phoenix, Ariz.-based Desert Financial Credit Union, has switched affiliations from LPL Financial to the financial institutions division of Raymond James. Desert's 11 financial advisers manage $638 million in client assets. (More: See more adviser moves in InvestmentNews' Adviser on the Move database.) Established in 1939, Desert Financial Credit Union created its wealth management arm in 2000 and affiliated with LPL at that time. It is Arizona's largest locally based credit union.
