The National Foundation for Credit Counseling has launched a financial website for the Hispanic community. The site, termineconsudeuda.org, features interactive tools, such as budget worksheets and various calculators, in addition to relevant consumer articles. Other features include information on credit, housing and bankruptcy counseling and foreclosures, as well as general advice on how to manage financial distress. The NFCC has also released other financial-education products tailored specifically for those struggling in the Hispanic community, like workbooks on homeownership, money management, bankruptcy alternatives and financial recovery, and a free DVD on foreclosure. “Realizing that such challenges significantly affect the Hispanic community, the NFCC stepped up to the plate and created a new website in Spanish as a financial-resource tool,” NFCC spokeswoman Gail Cunningham said in a press release. “The new website is another demonstration of the NFCC's commitment to providing financial education and concrete solutions to the Hispanic community around their financial concerns.”
