Cyndeo Wealth Partners has expanded its advisory team in its home state of Florida with a veteran planner and expert advisor to affluent clients.

The multibillion-dollar RIA announced Tuesday that it has hired Shawn Jiles, a financial advisor with extensive experience managing wealth for high-net-worth individuals and families.

Jiles, who will be based in Central Florida, brings an asset management portfolio of approximately $200 million from his previous role as a private wealth advisor and partner at Bison Wealth in Orlando. Prior to that, his record as an investment advisor and registered broker includes stints a lenghty stay at Merrill and a brief affiliation with UBS.

In his new role as director at Cyndeo Wealth Partners, Jiles offers his expertise in balance-sheet efficiencies, long-term financial planning, and portfolio strategy, with a client base largely composed of ultra-high-net-worth families and entrepreneurs.

"Shawn is a great addition to our Central Florida strategy," Matt Kilgroe, president and CEO of Cyndeo Wealth Partners, said in a statement. "He provides deeply customized advice and guidance to help his accomplished clients unwind the complexities that significant wealth frequently entails."

Jiles’ approach often involves working alongside tax and legal advisors to tailor strategies in business succession, liquidity planning, and wealth preservation. With a background in engineering and multiple credentials related to retirement planning, he is known for his methodical approach to complex financial challenges.

He expressed excitement at joining Cyndeo Wealth Partners, citing their "core approach [that] aligns with my mission to act in the clients' best interests."

Based in St. Petersburg, Cyndeo Wealth Partners manages approximately $2.4 billion in assets and serves clients across 40 states.

The firm is a member of the Dynasty Financial Partners’ Network, a collaborative group of independent financial advisory firms, which last month got a massive vote of confidence from a consortium of investors including BlackRock, JPMorgan Asset Management, and Schwab who took part in a minority capital raise aimed at driving its continued growth.

“M&A — including milestone hires like that of Mr. Jiles at Cyndeo — continues to be a key driver of accelerating growth for our Network Firms,” said Andrew Marsh, vice chairman of Dynasty Financial Partners.
